The Chapel at Beckwith holds countless cherished memories for Cursillistas, a sacred space where we've shared moments like processing up the ramp to join friends singing 'They'll Know We Are Christians By Our Love'.
However, this beloved Chapel, so integral to our shared Cursillo experience, is showing it’s age and is in desperate need of repair and replacement. Without these vital repairs, the future of these memorable moments is at risk
The Cursillo Commission has decided to lead an effort to cover the cost of these much needed repairs by matching the amount donated by Cursillistas, up to a maximum of $50,000 from the investment returns on the funds previously given.
We already have a $21,500 commitment from individual donors. With the Commission matching contribution we only need an additional $28,500 to reach the goal of $100,000.

This is the work that will be done.
Repair leak at the steeple,
Replace entry steps, ramps, landings and railings.
Complete all other rails and decking where needed or required.
Clean, prepare, prime, and paint exteriors.
Clean, sand and refinish interior wood near the peak from Steeple Leakage. (depending on severity, could be moved up in priority)
Sand and refinish interior wood floor.
When completed the stairs, railing and ramp will look like the recent work on the Bayfront building.
